Guns stolen from car

MULTIPLE guns have been stolen from a privately owned vehicle on Willi Street in Warwick.
The incident occurred between midnight and 6am on Friday.
The owner woke to find the guns were no longer in the vehicle and immediately called police.
Police are investigating the incident, but at this stage the firearms have not been located.

Cunningham Highway crash
A TWO-vehicle crash occurred on the Cunningham Highway on Sunday around noon.
At 11.59am it was reported that a red Toyota Camry came into contact with a Mazda travelling south on the Cunningham Highway.
It was later reported to police, although no injuries were recorded.

Vehicle break-in
A VEHICLE was broken into on Grafton Street in Warwick, sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning.
The vehicle was in an open carport in the owner’s backyard.
It is believed that someone has entered the property and broken into the car between Saturday at 4.40pm and Sunday at 8.40am.
It was not reported what was stolen, but the owner found discarded cards in their backyard Sunday morning.

Search warrant uncovers drugs
LAST Thursday a search warrant was executed on premises situated in McCosker Drive, Dalveen, uncovering a range of cannabis, drug paraphernalia, assorted script medication, unknown white powder and a disassembled rifle.
A 33-year-old-man was charged with permitting a place to be used for the administration of dangerous drugs, disobeying a lawful direction, possessing drug utensils and unlawfully possessing a controlled substance.
A 24-year-old Glen Aplin man was charged with disobeying a lawful direction, possessing dangerous drugs and possessing drug utensils while an 18-year-old female from Amiens received drug diversion.
