Equine vet expands

Dr Frank Low will be handling regular trips to Allora, Clifton and Goomburra.

Warwick Equine Veterinarians is a 100 per cent equine practice servicing the Warwick region and has now announced a regular run around the surrounding areas of the Southern Downs.
A regular run on Tuesdays to Stanthorpe and Allora, Clifton and Goomburra will now be provided as an extension of the services it already provides in Warwick.
The practice was started in 2012 by Dr Tias Muurlink.
Dr Muurlink is a registered specialist in equine surgery and has extensive experience with lameness, stud and general horse practice.
Dr Frank Low joined the practice earlier this year.
Frank worked in Warwick with Dr Muurlink 15 years ago before working with equestrian sport horses and breeding in Britain.
He then took the role of head equestrian vet with the Hong Kong Jockey Club for six years before returning to Queensland.
Frank has extensive experience in lameness and performance problems in race and equestrian horses.
He has gained further qualifications in equine medicine and has a strong interest in equine cardiology and reproduction.
Warwick Equine Veterinarians’s focus is on the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of equine problems.
As well as providing surgical and breeding services, it also offers services such as mobile digital radiology (X-ray), endoscopic examinations of the respiratory tract, gastroscopy (ulcers) and ultrasound examinations of the heart (echocardiology).
In addition, the practice also offers shockwave treatment and stem cell therapy.
