PRIZE VALUE TRIPLED
The value of prizes for Warwick East Bowls club’s monthly Open triples and Red Rooster triples has been massively increased from this Thursday, 1 October. New prizes will be: Winners: Meat Tray as normal plus $50 cash each team member. Runners-up: Breakfast Tray as normal plus $25 each team member. New last place getter: $10 per team member.
As well, there will be a new Jackpot draw with an initial stake of $100. Green fees will also be reduced to $10 per player. These prizes apply from 1 October whenever 10 or more teams are competing, so get your teams in by noon on Thursday 1 October to 4661 9050 or warwickeastbowls@bigpond.com.
BARE THEM FOR RONALD
ON Saturday evening, (3 October), from 5pm to 8pm, Warwick East Bowls club will play host to a Ronald McDonald House Charity Barefoot Bowls event. It will be a night of fun for the whole family with everything supplied for you to “Bare your feet for Charity“ and have a go at barefoot bowls. There will also be face painting for the kids, a barbecue sausage sizzle for everyone and all proceeds of the night’s activities will go to Ronald McDonald House.

$3300 PRIZE MONEY FOR NOVEMBER FOURS CARNIVAL
WARWICK East’s Open Fours Carnival will be held on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 November with men’s, women’s and mixed teams welcome to compete. Prize money is a generous $3300 with the winning team going home with $900, runners-up $600, 4th $300, 5th $200 and each of five round winners taking home $180. Nominations are open now. Sunday 27 September: The Patroness and Patron sponsored this day. There was a wonderful turn up to play in their honour.
