THE Lions Club of Warwick run a fundraising raffle in the form of a framed Bronco Jersey which was won just before Christmas by Kathy Lee.
The raffle raised $3500 for RACQ Careflight, and this week at a dinner meeting Warwick Lions president Con Lo Giudice presented the cheque for that amount to CareFlight Queensland -Toowoomba fund-raiser assistant manager Jo Capp and Warwick CareFlight representative John Luck.
In presenting the cheque, president Con said that Lions members were happy to volunteer long hours for this fund, knowing how many times CareFlight helicopters are heard flying over Warwick and the Southern Downs week in and out carrying patients for emergency treatment.
