THE trial of a Warwick man accused of repeatedly molesting an underage girl when engaged in equestrian activities is continuing in the Toowoomba District Court.
The trial began on Monday 10 October and the jury was expected to retire on Thursday to consider its verdict after the final summing up by Judge Searles.
The man cannot be identified by law in order to protect the identity of the girl.
The court heard allegations this week that the man had placed his hand down the complainant’s shirt, touching her outside of her jeans and inappropriately touched her on a number of occasions in 2012 when she was aged 13 or 14.
The offending is alleged to have taken place during trips to equestrian events and on properties in the Warwick area.
The man has pleaded not guilty to charges of indecent treatment of a child under 16 and maintaining a sexual relationship with a child under 16.
