A GROUP of business owners and residents looking to lodge a legal appeal against the approval of a new Bunnings outlet on the floodplain in Warwick are inviting all interested parties to a public meeting this Saturday 19 November.
The Southern Downs Regional Council approved the development on the vacant land behind KFC at the corner of Condamine and Canning streets in September but objectors have raised concerns about the impact on flooding of fill to be brought onto the site.
The public meeting will be held at the Warwick Senior Citizens Centre on Albert Street, opposite Leslie Park, at 2pm on Saturday. For more information contact Helen Harm on 0408 457 496.
