Mick Bradford donated the proceeds from his 2016 Heavy Horse Day at the Yangan Hotel to RACQ LifeFlight on Monday night, 20 February.
The aero-medical service was represented by community engagement officer Nikki Bloom, who gratefully accepted the Heavy Horse Day proceeds of $11,000 – taking the total raised by Mick over the last 15 years he has run the event to a whopping $106,000.
The handover took place as part of the Killarney Lions Club dinner at the hotel, with the Lions themselves also presenting a cheque for $600 to RACQ LifeFlight, being the proceeds of their last Christmas raffle.
