The Warwick Water Rats made history by fielding their first Women’s Sevens side at Risdon Oval last Saturday, taking on Gatton in a pre-season trial game.
Coach Lauren Quinlan said the girls played well, winning both of Saturday’s games, with “a few minor injuries but overall everyone had great games and played extremely well, considering some girls have never played before”.
Apart from the players pictured, the squad also includes Lisa Croft, Juliette Cronin, Emily Ranger, Grace Fender, Eloise Wiles, Shayne Hayes and Leanne Brown.
