Cannabis possession

On 19 May, detectives and police from Warwick found two large one and a half metre cannabis plants during a search of a property on Roona Road, Junabee.

As a result, a 63-year-old male was charged with produce of dangerous drugs, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of utensils.

Rangers Road theft

Between the 15 and 20 May, offenders entered a business shed on Rangers Road and stole a quantity of power tools.

According to Warwick Police acting officer-in-charge Sergeant Cameron Slater, no exact figures of what was stolen has been determined and the incident is still under investigation.

Traffic crash

At 2.30pm last Friday, a two vehicle traffic accident occurred at the corner of George and Pratten Streets.

Warwick Police acting officer-in-charge Sergeant Cameron Slater said one driver failed to follow a give way sign.

However, there were no serious injuries and no one has been charged.

Ford Road Break-in

Between the 14 and 20 May, a house and shed were broken into on Ford Road at Rosenthal Heights.

A window was smashed to gain entry and a large quantity of power tools have been taken.

Warwick Police acting officer-in-charge Sergeant Cameron Slater said that matter is still under investigation.

Assault at Leslie Park

On Sunday 22 May at 2.00pm, a male was sitting in Leslie Park talking to another person, when he was approached and assaulted by a group of males.

The victim sustained injuries to the head and facial area.

He went to the police station after the incident, who then took him to hospital.

Police are investigating the incident further.
