Why SunLife Warwick?

The release this past week of the SunLife Warwick 86 lot over 50’s Horizons development has seen a strong response, and it is reported that in several cases ‘triggering’ contemplation of the next steps to ‘live life to the full’.

When Tim Wright the developer was asked ‘why live at Horizons’ at SunLife Warwick he said ‘the answer is easy. Importantly, SunLife Warwick objective is to meet all five key considerations and all five powers for over 50’s living. As we get older and selecting a place to live, there are five key considerations which are important to evaluate.

• How is our health and what services we likely to require?

• Where is our family located and how close to them do we need to be?

• What environment makes us happy and content – city – county – town?

• What are the community facilities for us and the community spirit?

• What finances do we have?

These are vital to consider in conjunction with the powers of living for your healthy senior years’.

When asked about the five Powers of Living that empower our over 50’s residents for a happy and healthy life in a SunLife estate, Mr Wright said ‘the power of belief in the golden years, that you need to believe in a positive and happy retirement, embrace it, invite the Golden Years in. Secondly, the power of world views. Not catastrophising everything in the world around you. Remain positive that the world has a lot to offer and you are part of it and need to enjoy it. Thirdly, the power of exercise. It is resoundingly clear that adopting daily lifestyle habits, hobbies and activities that promote physical activity and avoid sitting down for long periods of time is a must for those wanting a healthy and happy retirement. Fourthly, the power of socialising. All in all, being part of a social group and engaging in social activities is a must to ensure happy retirement. Fifthly, the power of driving. In one study I read, nondrivers were found to be four to six times more likely to die than drivers during the subsequent 3-year period following driving cessation. Warwick is very driver friendly compared to the major cities”.

He went on to say that at SunLife Warwick the five key considerations are also well understood. The Over 50’s estate is in a lovely country elevated environment close to many facilities such as the hospital. From a health perspective SunLife Warwick has excellent health services and of course is still only one hour to Toowoomba and a couple of hours to Brisbane. Being close to Toowoomba and Brisbane, family can be close while enjoying all the benefits SunLife Warwick has to offer. Being part of the rose city the community spirit and is second to none. With a club house view that will likely be the best in Australia and the array of community activities in the town the residents at SunLife Warwick will enjoy a rich and vibrant community lifestyle.

Finally, finances are always integral to consider. SunLife Warwick offers extraordinary value for money, and being freehold title tenure security and freedom to sell when you wish with no exit fees.

All in all Summerfield has it all – health, value, community, location and environment.
