Queenslanders to converge on Warwick for country music festival

More than 70 people from all over Queensland will compete in this weekend’s Ultra Golden Country Music Festival.
The 10th annual festival will include more than 345 songs in 26 sections over the two-and-a-half days of the event.
It is an Over 50s festival, which allows older people to compete against their peers, and enjoy the pleasurable experience.
Last year the Warwick Town Hall was packed and organisers are expecting a similar result.
Warwick’s Travelling Country Music Association Inc will host the festival from 4pm tomorrow and from 8am on both Saturday and Sunday at the Warwick Town Hall.
A judges’ concert will be held at the end of the competition.
The daily admission fees are: adults $7, pensioners $5 and children $3; otherwise you can take advantage of their daily family pass, which costs $18 for two adults and two children.
