Successful flower show

The Warwick Horticultural Society held a successful flower show in St Mary’s Hall on Wednesday, March 2, and Thursday, March 3, with good results in all sections of the schedule.
The show itself was excellent, with exhibits well presented for judging and the exhibits were of a very high standard. The entries were up in all classes of the schedule, making it a very successful Autumn Flower Show.
The judges’ comments were very favourable considered the weather and storms, which were in the district early in the week.

The Champion Cut Flower was exhibited by Merle Bamberry and the Reserve Champion was exhibited by Bev Mitchell, both of Warwick.
The Champion Cut Tree, Shrub and Australian Flora was shown by Brian and Mary Burnell and the Reserve Champion was exhibited by Bev Mitchell.
