Good food, made easy

Popular celebrity chef and Seven’s Better Homes and Gardens culinary guru, Ed Halmagyi, will be appearing at the 2012 Stanthorpe Apple and Grape Festival on Saturday, March 3.
Ed Halmagyi, also known as Fast Ed will be doing a one-hour live cooking demonstration from 10am at the Channel Seven marquee at Weeroona Park.
Be captivated as you see live in action Fast Ed taming delicious flavours in no time at all and producing the following tantalising menu:
nSmoked trout canapés with pickled apple and long pepper
nCauliflower Rendang with capsicum and snow peas
nModern Waldorf salad with apples and raisins
nGrilled lamb with apple glaze, grape and pecan sauce, rocket and radish salad
nSimple chocolate mousse with marinated grapes and heavy cream
For Ed, it’s all about ‘good food, made easy’ keeping delicious food accessible, affordable and achievable.
His two new soft cover books have been a great success. “Fast Ed’s Dinner in 10” features more than 100 quick recipes and “An Hour’s the Limit” serves up recipes that may take five, 15 minutes, and some a little longer. None of his recipes though take longer than an hour and are guaranteed to work first time, every time.
For your chance to see Fast Ed in action, visit the Channel Seven marquee at the Stanthorpe Apple and Grape Festival Saturday, March 3 from 9.30am for cook book signings and photographs as well as the one-hour demonstration.
You can catch him from 2pm in the Channel Seven Grand Parade and again in the day at the Celebrity Grape Crush.
Join Ed in the Multicultural Entertainment Extravaganza in Weeroona Park and enjoy great music, food, Granite Belt wines and a host of fun events.
