Art exhibition to help celebrate carnival

As part of the Wintersong Carnival to be held in Tenterfield from June 18 to 26, members of the Borderline Regional Art Association will hold an art exhibition titled “Artsong” at the Forest to Furniture Gallery (opposite the old railway station).
‘Borderline’ has been going since 1994 and includes members from the Tenterfield and Stanthorpe regions and beyond.
It is hoped that “Artsong” will become a regular part of the biennial Wintersong calendar.
An informal opening celebration will be held from 9am onwards on Sunday, June 3, and a light “brunch” menu will be available. Entry is free and everybody is welcome.
All works will be for sale and the exhibition will be open every day from 10am to 4pm until July 3.
As well as the “Artsong” exhibition, Borderline mem-bers will be decorating a float for the Carnival Street Parade. This will be held on Saturday, June 23 at 12.30pm.
For further information call John on 0413 962 518.
