Hard-working Toastmaster

DURING the last Warwick Toastmasters meeting, Area Governor Liz Hudson presented an award to Peter Maughan for 15 years of commitment to the club.
Mr Maughan was one of the charter members of the club when it was formed in 1982, and he rose to the position of Area Governor before taking a break for personal reasons.
Re-joining, Mr Maughan has dedicated himself to the service of the committee, being president numerous times and Area Governor once more.
Among his achievements was organising speech craft tuition with SCOTS, Warwick High, SOTE and Warwick East students.
He also played a critical role in sponsoring the charter of Goondiwindi Club.
Members of Warwick Toastmasters would like to congratulate Mr Maughan on his award.
Toastmasters welcomes visitors to their meetings held at the Warwick Library on the second and forth Tuesdays of each month, from 7.30pm.
