SOUTHERN Downs residents are invited to join the Endeavour Foundation for an open day at the Stanthorpe Learning and Lifestyle.
The event will take place at 26 High Street from 10am to noon, and forms part of Disability Action Week activities.

Ball at the hall
THE Swan Creek Hall Spring Time Ball is fast approaching and will take place on 14 September from 7.30pm.
As well as cutting moves on the dance floor, the night will feature an exceptional line-up of acts including Mike Woollett Band.
Guests are asked to dress formally for the event with prizes for best-dressed bloke and lady.

Charity rally
CAR engines will roar to life on 9 September as the 12th annual Cystic Fibrosis Great Escape car rally blazes a 10-day fund-raising path across regional New South Wales and Queensland.
The rally will rumble into Tenterfield on Tuesday 17 September. This year the rally hopes to raise more than $500,000 for continued research into Cystic Fibrosis.
