Car rally on this weekend

The Endeavour Foundation will be conducting a “Preunion & Workers’ Rally” this weekend.
About 50 cars will arrive in Allora from 7.30am on Saturday and be ready to roll about 9am on a 377km rally that will finish back in Allora that afternoon.
It is planned to have the cars park in the main street on their return to show off the cars to the Allora and district residents.
The rally drivers will then proceed to the showgrounds for a final briefing, ballot draw and reunion prior to the Great Endeavour Rally to be held from July 12-21. This rally will travel from Goondiwindi to the Gold Coast, travelling about 3000km over the 10 days.
Locals Bev O’Halloran, Lyn Wright and Robyn Devine will be in car 053. There is a team from Clifton. The Warwick boys are not entering the rally this year but a couple of chaps are crew for other cars on the rally.
The crew of car 053 will be handing each car a promotion bag. Local business houses will have business cards, promotional material and ‘freebies’ for the Endeavour Rally participants who come from a wide area of Queensland.
