Find out how a Property Vegetation Plan can work for you

In response to considerable community interest the Border Rivers-Gwydir CMA and Granite Borders Landcare are holding a Property Vegetation Planning information session in Tenterfield on December 13.
Go to the Steinbrook Hall to find out what the CMA does (enquiries and approvals) and does not do (compliance and enforcement) with regard to Native Vegetation laws.
At the information session they will explain details of the Native Vegetation Act 2003 and the Native Vegetation Regulation 2005, and will discuss the review of Native Vegetation regulations being undertaken by the NSW Government.
The Border Rivers-Gwydir CMA provides advice on native vegetation management and assists in the preparation of Property Vegetation Plans at no cost to the landholder.
Additionally they can provide advice on whether your plans for managing native vegetation require approval under the Native Vegetation Act 2003.
Property vegetation planning officers will be on hand in Tenterfield to answer questions about the Native Vegetation Act and the management of native vegetation on your property.
They would also like to find out from landholders how the Border Rivers-Gwydir CMA and Granite Borders Landcare can provide better assistance to both current and potential Property Vegetation Planning clients.
Join the groups for a cuppa at the end of the information session and give them your suggestions and advice on how they can improve their service to landholders.
RSVP to Alice Devlin at the Border Rivers-Gwydir CMA Inverell office on (02) 6728 8020 or Mark Thomas at the Granite Borders Landcare office on (02) 6736 3500.
Date: Tuesday, December 13
Time: 2pm to 4pm NSW time
Venue: Steinbrook Hall, 10km east of Tenterfield on the Steinbrook Hall Road, off Billirimba Road (follow the Landcare signs)
