Calling green thumbs

The Warwick Horticultural Society will start its 104th year with the Autumn Flower Show to be held in St Mary’s Hall, Wood Street, Warwick, on Wednesday, March 7 and Thursday, March 8.
The schedule caters for Dahlias, Roses, Miscellaneous Cut Flowers, Cut Trees, Shrubs, Australian Flora, Container Plants, Floral Art, Children’s Section and Vegetables and Fruit.
Entries will be accepted on Wednesday, March 7, between 8am and 9.30am. Judging will then start at 10am.
The doors will open to the public from 12pm to 4pm on the first day of the show and 9am to 4pm on Thursday, March 8, when the trophies will be presented to the winners.
Admission is $3 and morning and afternoon teas are available.
