Market merriment

Market in the Mountains will be held on Sunday.
Market in the Mountains will celebrate Christmas in July on Sunday.
Santa will visit, crossing off items from his huge shopping list for the big day in December. He may pick up some products from herbal circle, the Aromatherapy Bodycare products that are dedicated to using only natural plant ingredients, cold pressed oils, butters and organic herbal infusions to care for your skin.
Come down to the Stanthorpe Civic Centre 8am to 12pm to talk to Corin Walters who has been coming to the markets for more than six years selling the herbal circle range.
Right next door you will find Mary’s Kitchen selling traditional Italian sweets such as the ultimate Italian pastry – cannoli.
The cannoli is filled with a creamy ricotta centre and wrapped with a crisp golden shell. Mary and Maria have been at the Market in the Mountains for more than 10 years; they also have a great range of gluten-free products and will take your order for that special occasion.
The indoor markets offer unique gifts, fresh produce, plants, arts and crafts. Pick up some Pillarbee Honey made right here in the Southern Downs. Take the time and talk to the stallholders who make the products and enjoy a cuppa at the Crafters Cafe.
