School centenary

Applethorpe State School will be celebrating its school centenary on Saturday, November 5.
The school’s Centenary Committee is very keen to hear from past students, teachers and community members who attended or taught at Applethorpe State School between 1911 and 2011.  Currently the committee is collating contact details of anyone who has been associated with the school (eg, past students, teachers, staff etc). We would like to ask those who are interested in attending the centenary celebration to please contact the committee on the below details to provide their contact information.
The committee would particularly like to hear from past students and teachers from the last 25 years, ie, 1986-2010. School/class photographs, memorabilia, and personal anecdotes are required to assist with the compilation of the souvenir booklet.
Please direct all enquiries to the President Ms Valerie Minotto by email to applethorpe.s.scentenary@hotmail.com or to the school principal, Martin Hodgson, email to
the.principal@applethoss.eq.edu.au or (07) 4683 2203.
