Is it good sense?

The Ring of Fire, the pathway to earthquakes and all things that spell disaster for the whole world, is not apparently about to trouble Australia in the form of earthquakes at least.
However we now read where a magnitude four earthquake shook Innisfail in North Queensland this week.
There are small tremors mentioned quite frequently elsewhere in Australia, and on November 24, 1875, a 3.8 magnitude shook the Allora, Goomburra, Talgai and Warwick area and as far away as Stanthorpe. Depth given of this small earthquake – CRUSTAL.
The epicentre was the Glengallen Creek. This area was then in its infancy of development.
However, this writer often wonders how, in moving so much of our land mass and dumping upon another land mass parts of Australia, and in calling it good business, is good sense.
