My husband and I live in the local area and find the Eight Mile intersection dangerous and confusing. We strongly suggest a circular roundabout approximately two hectares or bigger – similar to Goondiwindi, with double lanes and continuous traffic at 30 kilometres per hour with no cross traffic. A four lane highway from the Eight Mile intersection to Warwick would also eliminate the present bottleneck and accidents.
