I guess everybody still remembers that ‘horror’ smash during November, just gone. This was on the New England Highway 10km from Wallangarra and just north of Tenterfield.
Reports were that a vehicle coming from the western approach of Bruxner Highway and two vehicles proceeding north along New England Highway had a fatal collision.
Two days ago as I travelled that same western approach, I was absolutely gobsmacked to see that as you approach the main highway (expecting to see some ‘slow down’ indication) there was a 100km sign!
I don’t know what else to say. It just blows me away.
