Moving flying foxes

There is another way to remove flying foxes without shooting them, get two 60-litre drums, cut a 15cm hole just up from the base, above that put bars through the sides to form a grate and place the drums underneath where the flying foxes roost. On top of the grate put old bags soaked in sump oil and light a small fire underneath to start the bags smouldering. When it is hot and smoking well, get two old tee-shirts, soak one in Friars balsam the other in Eucalyptus oil and put one on top of each smoker, the smoke will cause them to move, thinking there is a fire danger—the Friars balsam and Eucalyptus oil will clear their sinuses—apparently they don’t like their sinuses clear and they will move.
