Abbott’s pledge

Now contra to what some may believe, I am not a loyal Labor  voter and will give credit where it’s due and will always vote for the best candidate Labor, Independent or coalition, BUT unfortunately here we go again from Mr Abbott. (news release 20/8/12)
Mr Abbott’s pledge in today’s news is a return to the “Howard days,” when will this man realise the Howard day’s have come and gone they started some 16 years ago and finished when he was voted out over 5 years ago.
He talks about prosperity etc during those days. Yes there was and we all liked that and perhaps a little to much. The structure of that prosperity was inherited from the Hawke Keating days when they did all the hard yards in banking reform and deamalgamations etc setting the agenda in change for decades to come and no one, not even Costello whom I like very much can deny, it’s even in his book. Surely we have moved on and that’s what you should do if you are to have any credibility of your own. The way you speak you want to get the coalition elected (possibly) and then probably resurrect John Howard ? I don’t think so.
Dear Tony stand on your own two feet set a platform agenda for yourself and your party and tell us what it really is not just say no to everything. Support the Carbon Tax (it’s not painful) and get it to an emissions trading scheme ASAP, hopefully before 2015 as it’s set now, just like John Howard wanted and your party  wanted at the 2007 election and was  supported by Labor. It needs support and I know you believe in it. Now as of yesterday (20/8/12)  33 countries and 17 large provinces around the world have signed up to a carbon price in 2013. That’s 20 per cent of the worlds population and 30 per cent of the world’s emission, that is unbelievable for the life of our future generations. The current Australian Government should be very proud they are the world leaders and that is why others have recognised that and are following suit.
Support the Mining Wealth Tax (not your rich mates) that’s the second best thing that has happened after you as the coalition introduced the GST. This will make our country very wealthy and economy strong and prosperous and will create a wealth of jobs for generations to come. If you can’t do this move on and get a new life and let Malcolm Turnbull take over.
As for where the money is coming from for a world level education, worlds best health scheme and Infrastructure well look above that’s where it’s coming from so get a move on or you just may miss the wagon at the next election.
