Firey classics hit town

WORLD class concert pianist Simon Tedeschi and virtuoso violinist Ian Cooper will perform a free concert in Warwick later this month.

The duo is on tour and will perform in towns from Normanton to Goondiwindi and Birdsville to Warwick, as part of the Queensland Music Festival celebrations.
QMF Artistic Director James Morrison said he was excited that residents in all corners of the State were set to experience such world class talent.
“Putting Tedeschi and Cooper together is like mixing nitro with glycerine,” Morrison said.
“They’re an explosion of musical virtuosity and I’ve never seen a performance where they haven’t left the audience on their feet and wanting more.
Fresh from performing shows from Paris to New York and London to Sydney, Tedeschi and Cooper will visit Warwick on the 27 July with their eclectic musical styles ranging from classics and jazz, to blues, Gypsy and swing.
Morrison said of the shows; “this is not just a concert, it’s an experience.”
