Fete funstars prepare for quest

WARWICK West State School students are ready to rock their school fete on Friday, 6 September.

The school fete extravaganza will feature an exciting range of rides, stalls, raffles, shows and attractions at the school grounds on George St from 2.30pm to 8pm.
Several of the school’s classes will perform as part of the school’s talent quest with cash prizes up for offer.
Visitors can expect to see plenty of dancing, disco as well as the chance to sample cakes from the delicious cake stall.
The school has also promised that there will be some great items up for auction, as well as plenty of food including burgers, dagwood dogs, sushi and roast beef rolls.
Wrist bands will be available for students to ride the rides all night for $35.
Any parents able to volunteer and lend a hand during the fete were encouraged to phone 0413 401 049.
All money raised from the fete will go towards resources for students through the student P&C group.
