• Aerodrome site discussed by Shire Council (no licence ever issued by the Diamondvale ground by Civil Aviation Department) • Old Racecourse Reserve purchased in 1931. Mr. Pratt is prepared to loan paddock at Broadwater at no cost.

• Machines displayed at Show; Golden Casket is drawn in Stanthorpe at the Arcadia

• Council deems £25,000 Hospital beyond capacity of ratepayers

• THE NEW HOSPITAL – LAYING OF FOUNDATION STONE CEREMONY. MINISTER FOR HEALTH AND HOME AFFAIRS, E.M HANLON.

Cost of new buildings, £24,000 – at most £25,000; Government provided £10,00, present hospital designed for 20 patients at times there were more than 44-45 there.

• Water Supply Council approves of scheme – 6 votes to 3 in favour of the scheme at a cost of £75,000, two-thirds to be provided by State and Federal Government.
