Assumption College warmly welcomed students, families and members of the wider community to the college last Friday night to their Welcome Barbecue, introducing their new college principal, Mrs Liisa Hammond.
The Welcome Barbecue was well attended by the community who enjoyed the hospitality of the college for the evening.
The evening was provided as an opportunity to come together as a community, meet the new college principal, and celebrate the beginning of the school year.
Live entertainment was provided by one of the college’s own talented students, Jordan Quinert.
Their Hospitality Coffee shop was also running on the night, and hospitality students provided guests with complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolates well suited to the cool evening.
The college would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who attended their Welcome Barbecue and helped make the evening a very social event for their college community.
