Despite less-than-ideal weather conditions, the show went on as scheduled, and the Warwick Show proved that neither rain nor wind could dampen the spirits of attendees. Braving the elements, hundreds flocked to the Spano’s IGA Warwick Showgrounds to partake in the festivities.

The show boasted a remarkable turnout, with a record number of entrants showcasing their talents and contributions across various sections, including the photography exhibits. From intricate displays of sheep wool to delectable cakes and captivating demonstrations of crafted woodwork, there was something to captivate every visitor’s interest.

Reflecting on the event’s success, the Warwick Show and Rodeo Society Secretary, Terri Gilbert said the crowds were up 20 percent.

“We got a lot of feedback from people visiting who thought it was a very good little country show,” Ms Gilbert said.

With the conclusion of the Spano’s IGA Warwick Show, the Southern Downs Show season draws to a triumphant close, marking another successful chapter in the region’s vibrant tradition of agricultural showcases and community gatherings.
