The Rabbits Eat Lettuce festival has been hailed as a resounding success by organisers and attendees alike.

Held against the serene backdrop of Cerrabah Resort over the Easter Weekend, the festival provided a tranquil setting for patrons to enjoy nights under the stars.

Festival organiser Erik Lamir said the event went really well and the crowds were very well-behaved.

“We didn’t have any instances of violence or aggression on site and didn’t have any need to utilise local emergency services,“ Lamir said.

Collaboration with local contractors and suppliers was instrumental in the festival’s success, both during its construction and dismantling phases.

Lamir highlighted the festival’s efforts to maintain positive relationships with immediate neighbours, ensuring compliance with noise restrictions and mitigating any potential disruptions.

Despite a slight dip in ticket sales compared to previous years, feedback from attendees has been overwhelmingly positive, with many describing it as the best festival they’ve ever experienced. Lamir encouraged individuals to share their thoughts by reaching out via email to info@rabbitseatlettuce.com.au.

Organisers are optimistic about securing a long-term permit at Cerrabah Resort, building on the success of this year’s event and its role in introducing harm reduction strategies.
