Tannymorel Bowl’s club hosted their final triples game of the year recently and it was well supported by local and visiting players.
Winners Marg Wright, Ron Philps and Pete Collis scored a 14-7 win in their first round game against Tom Seaniger, Phil Wagner and Max Holder. Skip Pete Collis wrapped up the win for the team scoring a 21-7 win over Walshy in the Skips only round.
Runners up were Rob Parker, Joe Stratham, and Brian Brown while Tom Seaniger, Phil Wagner and Max Holder collected the unwanted Horse’s Butt award.
The final round of the Tanny Classic has also been decided.
After weeks of competition the results could hardly have been closer. Barb Donovan and Ash Coleman split the winner’s cheque when they finished the tied on 16 points.
The race for second spot also resulted in the prize money being shared. Fritzy and Crocodile were just one point behind the winners with 15 points apeice.
Hot on their heels were K.A (14) and Liam McKinney and Yvonne Reid (13).
The Tanny Classic once again proved a popular format and it was great to see many junior bowlers involved.
