Dream win for basketball team

Dream Team were the big winners in round three of the South Queensland Basketball Championships at WIRAC on Thursday.

Top scorer was Zac Walk who scored 22 points as they defeated Wickham 67-36 in what was a round of interesting results.

Hog Stars (Toowoomba) also had a good win beating Sunday Sessh 58-43, top scorers were Tom Clift who scored 18 points and Ben Punzalan 14.

Panthers were too strong for Has Beens winning 42-24 with Von Baldazan finishing with16 points and Jay Figuracion 10.

In the closest result of the night RPC 46 defeated Giddy Gang 40, Jake Casilum had a great game scoring 20 points with Jack Coleman 12.

Round four tips off tonight, 29 February at WIRAC.

Early games, 6pm, court one Wickham take on RPC; court two – Giddy Gang versus Sunday Sessh.

Late games: 7pm, court one Hogs Stars play Has Beens; court two – 7pm Panthers take on Wazza Whales.
