STANTHORPE

STANTHORPE police inquiries continue after reports of three males throwing rocks into the pool at Murray Gardens Motel in Pancor Road. Police have viewed CCTV footage of the incident which occurred at 11.30pm on 25 January.
The same motel came to police attention on 27 January when a group of young males and juveniles were caught allegedly trespassing.
Two 17-year-olds were issued with Notices to Appear. Four juveniles will be cautioned for the same offence.

Teen trouble
POLICE detained an intoxicated 17-year-old male for obstructing traffic in Talc Street on Sunday, 26 January at 6.30pm.
On being released from Stanthorpe police station, the teenager attempted to start a fight and resisted police attempting to restrain him.
He was issued with an infringement notice regarding public nuisance and obstructing police.

Liquor offences
STANTHORPE police said they were generally happy with Australia Day celebrations, with good crowds attending events and only minor liquor breaches detected.
Two juveniles found consuming liquor in a licensed area of Weeroona Park have been issued with liquor infringement notices.
A 22-year-old man was intercepted in Maryland Street at 2.30am on 26 January. He later recorded a BAC of .087 per cent and was issued with a Notice to Appear at a later date.
