Clever kids primed to perform

Students prepare for the musical at a dress rehearsal last week.

THE final countdown has begun, with only days until the Vijayadev Yogendra Auditorium comes alive with The School of Total Education’s Primary School musical production, “Tales of Wisdom and Wonder.”
This year, teacher Michael Funder is responsible for the cleverly written script along with the composition of catchy music.
The night promises to be full of fun for both young and old, with familiar and new tales such as “The Happy Prince”, “The Old Man and His Horse”, “Tiki Tiki Tembo”, and “The Elements”, being showcased this Friday and Saturday at 7.30pm.
“The students should be very proud of their efforts,” Grade 4 teacher Sam Fisher said.
“Learning lines, songs and dances along with the normal day-to-day school schedule has been a challenge, however the students are having fun and are ready and looking forward to the performances.”
Tickets are on sale at the school office, or by phoning 4661 2666.
