Potted artworks

Albert Verschuuren and Graeme Schreiber holding works to be displayed at their forthcoming exhibition at Artists' Collective Studio, Tenterfield.

ART will be centre stage at Tenterfield tomorrow night for the opening of the next Featured Artists Exhibition at the Artists’ Collective Studio from 5.30pm.
This month’s featured artists are painter Graeme Schreiber and potter Albert Verschuuren.
Graeme is now a full-time artist after working in the engineering field for more than 20 years.
His paintings are done in contemporary and realistic styles with wildlife and landscapes being major themes.
Albert’s unique work results from the combination of skillful wheel-throwing, use of local clays and glaze materials and wood-firing his kiln.
Born in the Netherlands and trained in Canada, Albert has called the Granite Belt home since 1978.
He is recognised as one of Australia’s master potters.
Come along for wine and nibbles at the opening from 5.30pm until 8pm on Friday evening, 6 March.
The exhibition continues until Sunday 19 April during the usual gallery hours Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 10am to 4pm, Saturday and Sunday, 9am to 3pm.
