A 68-YEAR-OLD man from The Summit is set to face court later this month charged after wilfully damaging another motor vehicle.
Stanthorpe police said the man was charged after an incident on Monday 23 February in which it is alleged the offender wilfully ran his vehicle into that of the victim after a minor disagreement at a Thulimbah address, causing damage to the door of the vehicle.
Drink driving charges laid
ABOUT 2am on Sunday morning, police responded to an accident at Thulimbah School Road, Thulimbah.
Upon arrival, they observed a vehicle in a ditch with a 21-year-old male present at the scene.
The man was later charged with drink driving after recording .091per cent alcohol level.
Meanwhile, at 5pm the same day police conducted random breathalyser tests at a site in High Street and intercepted a Toyota Sedan. The 53-year-old female driver was later charged with drink driving, after recording a .084 reading.
Three tyres slashed, deflated
Police are conducting inquiries in relation to damage caused to a motor vehicle parked at an address in High Street, Stanthorpe.
On 24 February, the victim found three of the tyres slashed and deflated.
Police have been unable to establish any motive for the offence.
