A DIESEL tanker jack-knifed at Cunningham’s Gap this week, holding up traffic for kilometres.
A Southern Free Times reader took this shot, saying drivers stopped as far as 20 kilometres away in Aratula, to avoid any danger from leaking fuel.
“Council workers put sand down on the road for the truck to able to right itself but that just made it worse,“ the reader said.
“Drivers chose to stop in outlying towns rather than risk any danger to themselves with the fuel situation,“ he said.
Warwick Police said they were unaware of the incident.
