A WARWICK school forayed into enemy territory on State of Origin night to show NSW a thing or two about putting on a winning show. The Scots PGC College Senior Choirs and the Pipes and Drums toured Moree during a three-day expedition that included concerts in Dalby and Goondiwindi.
Highlights included the school’s senior girls winning all six sections at an eisteddfod in Dalby.
The college also combined with the Moree highland dancing school to perform a community concert at Moree Public School.
In Dalby, the choirs attended Dalby eisteddfod and the Pipes and Drums went to the Karingal Nursing Home, before joining together once more for a community concert at the Dalby Uniting Church.
The bands also conducted an open rehearsal at Dalby Christian College before heading south to perform for the Moonie State School.
The last two concerts were held at St Mary’s Goondiwindi, the first for the students and then a community concert.
