LOCALLY owned car dealership Cassels Automotive will be officially welcoming Jeep, Chrysler and Dodge to the family next month.
With the dealership having been connected to the region for over 70 years, the new showroom will open up more opportunities for local employment and investment.
Owner David Cassels, who took over the dealership when he bought it in 2008, said the new showroom was another feather in the dealership’s bow.
“We’re very encouraged with the economy in Warwick and we’re investing money into the place and creating a few more jobs,” he said.
“We’ll have an official opening in November, so people can come for a drive day and have a test drive.”
The new showroom is now open, giving Warwick buyers an opportunity to purchase the new premium car brands locally.
“It’s a premium brand and there are a lot of current owners in the area, so we’ll service all those cars now,” Mr Cassels said.
Cassels Automotive employs 28 local staff with an emphasis on customer service, and although the market has been up and down, Mr Cassels said things were picking up.
“The market isn’t too bad, it’s been a bit challenging the last few months, but it’s certainly picking up now,” he said.
“Whatever car you want, we’ve got something here.”
The dealership offers new and used cars as well as servicing with facilities such as a kids room, cafe and a great view overlooking Warwick.
There is expected to be an announcement soon on when the official opening of the new showroom will be.
