Hearing and outings

Our visit to Brass Monkey Brewery was a great success and enjoyed by all. We celebrated our September birthdays with a beautiful cake decorated by Connie Puglisi, and cut by those present with a September birthday.

Our guest speakers were Sharon and Dee from Hear4Good, and made light of the serious problem of deafness in our old age. There are some wonderful gadgets available, as well as the latest in hearing aids, to help with this problem, so don’t put off getting your ears checked.

Our next outing will be 19 October to the Cobb & Co Museum at Liston. Hazel will be there approx. 11.00am to give us a talk and answer questions. A light lunch will be available at the Liston Hall.
