Spirit of lives on in Warwick

On February 2 the “Ghost of Elvis” who
lives in Victoria returned to Warwick.

Having visited in 2009 for the Charity Concert for Youngcare.

This visit was to Celebrate the 70th birthdays of Thelma Moore, Daphne Whatley, Dawn Krause and Ian Harris
(the ghost himself) at the home of Bernie
and Thelma Moore who have a home built on
the lines of Elvis Presley’s “Graceland” Mansion Memphis USA.

Guests were greeted on arrival by life size Elvis.

Family and friends from New Zealand, Warwick, Allora, Victoria, Dubbo, Coffs Harbour, Ballina, Gold Coast and Brisbane and along the Coast North as far as Gladstone, Goondiwindi, Inglewood and Stanthorpe danced into the small hours to the music
of Donna Coleman’s Country Music Band and the Ghost of Elvis.

Dawn and Daphne’s elderly mothers also attended.

Unfortunately due to the floods
some friends were unable to attend, they don’t know what they missed.

Prizes for the best dressed Elvis
were Nathan Pugliese from Gold Coast, runner
up Stuart Batterham from Inglewood.

Margaret Davey Brisbane, Junior
Miss Priscilla – Tahlia Powell Gold Coast.

Thanks went to Bernie and Thelma
for hosting the party and those who helped in any way with the catering and setting up.
