Spirit of lives on in Warwick

Joyce Powell (Daph’s Mother) with great grand children Tahlia and Dylan Powell.

On February 2 the “Ghost of Elvis” who
lives in Victoria returned to Warwick.

Having visited in 2009 for the Charity Concert for Youngcare.

This visit was to Celebrate the 70th birthdays of Thelma Moore, Daphne Whatley, Dawn Krause and Ian Harris
(the ghost himself) at the home of Bernie
and Thelma Moore who have a home built on
the lines of Elvis Presley’s “Graceland” Mansion Memphis USA.

Guests were greeted on arrival by life size Elvis.

of Donna Coleman’s Country Music Band and the Ghost of Elvis.

Dawn and Daphne’s elderly mothers also attended.

Unfortunately due to the floods
some friends were unable to attend, they don’t know what they missed.

Prizes for the best dressed Elvis
were Nathan Pugliese from Gold Coast, runner
up Stuart Batterham from Inglewood.

Priscilla – Abby Mickelo Brisbane, runner up
Margaret Davey Brisbane, Junior
Miss Priscilla – Tahlia Powell Gold Coast.

Thanks went to Bernie and Thelma
