Further explanation needed

The statement that our famous blade shearer, Jackie Howe, was born at Canning Downs near Warwick needs further explanation.
The following is an extract from “Killarney. The story of the District and its School”:
“On June 19, 1856, a young Englishman, George Egleston Fitzallen, leased and took possession of 300 acres of “Canning Downs”, known as “Killarney Farm”. Jackie Howe’s father, John Howe, was managing Killarney Farm, also known as Killarney Estate, when the famous shearer was born. A letter from the John Oxley Library has this to say: “It is most likely that Jack Howe was born 10th July 10, 1861 (registered 26th July 1861) at the manager’s residence on Killarney Estate.”
