Council elections

I am planning to nominate for the regional council elections in March next year.
I am aiming to create a network of interested people for: 1. Feedback on what issues concern them; 2. Questions to me on where I stand on issues people are interested in; and 3. A way for me to get information out on what I am about.
Generally I am interested in asking questions about the way things are done and why, in the interests of finding better and more cost efficient ways of doing things. I also believe that local/regional government especially is about people, even more than the other forms of government, and I see it as important to increase the community involvement/awareness in every area. To me this means supporting community initiatives in many areas.
If you want to be part of this network, please email me on ko4sdrc@gmail.com
